Job summary

Lanes Group plc in Preston is seeking a skilled HGV Operator (Drainage) to join our depot team. You will operate high‑specification jetting and vacuumation units with full training provided.

The role involves liaising with customers, updating electronic records, reporting safety issues and carrying out vehicle and jetting equipment checks. A Class 2 HGV licence with up to six penalty points and a CPC are desirable. This is a depot-based, full‑time role within the UK’s leading drainage contractor.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• CPC desirable.
• CSCS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages in drainage networks.
• Liaise with customers and coordinate service delivery.
• Update electronic records and maintain job logs.
• Report safety issues and ensure compliance.
• Carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks.

Job description

As a HGV Operator (Drainage), you will:

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units - full training will be provided
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems - full training will be provided
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks
  We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Operator (Drainage) to join our Depot based in Bamber Bridge, Preston. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear., HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 6 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous - however this could be obtained if necessary
