Job description

Salary: £17.29 per hour, plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 45 Hours per week, Monday to Friday - 05:30am.

Plus 'catch up Saturdays' following a Bank Holiday.

What you'll be doing;

• Driving to planned collection locations, loading and unloading vehicles when required.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
• Collect designated waste streams
• Operating vehicles in line with all training, procedures and legal requirements to protect the safety of yourself, your team and the public.
• Checking your vehicle for condition and roadworthiness, completing the appropriate forms and reporting any issues immediately.
• Ensuring at the end of your shift that the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left hygienic, clear of litter, uniform and personal effect

What we're looking for;

Essential:

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Up to date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph Card

Desired:

• Prior experience within the Waste Industry
