Overview

We are Veolia, a leading environmental services company. Join our team of drivers delivering essential services while protecting the environment and supporting local communities. This role focuses on safe vehicle operation, compliant waste handling, and providing reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per the driver operator handbook.
• Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
• Collect designated waste streams.
• Operating vehicles in line with training, procedures and legal requirements to protect the safety of yourself, your team and the public.
• Checking your vehicle for condition and roadworthiness, completing the appropriate forms and reporting any issues immediately.
• Ensuring at the end of your shift that the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left hygienic, clear of litter, with uniform and personal effects.

Essential qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Up to date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph Card

Desirable qualifications

• Prior experience within the Waste Industry
