Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a pre-booked, ongoing role at Bristol (BS16). You will perform trunk deliveries to Midlands hubs using a modern fleet and telematics.

Shifts run 10–12 hours with start times from 14:00–20:00. Pay rates vary by day with OT; onsite parking and a structured rota support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Licence restrictions: no more than 6 points and no DR/DG/CD/DD/BA on licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trunk / drop and swap to Midlands Hubs.
• No multi-drop required; trunk runs to hub and back.
• Pre-booked rota for planning and predictable hours.
• Support and operate our modern fleet with telematics.

Pay Rates

• Monday - Thursday: £18.15ph and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Friday: £18.15ph until midnight, £23.52ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Saturday: £23.52ph until midnight, £26.25ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Sunday: £26.25ph until midnight, £18.15ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

Shift Patterns

• Shifts: Operation runs 24-7 Monday to Sunday
• Average Shift Length: 10 - 12 hours
• Start times vary between 14:00 - 20:00 depending on weekly requirements
• Pre-booked rota for better planning

Job Role

• Delivery Type: Trunk / drop and swap / collection x1
• Destinations: Midlands Hubs
• Workload: Straight trunk to hub and back
• No multi-drop

Requirements

• Full UK Class C+E Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 experience
• Data available on your tachograph card displaying work over last 6 months
• We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR/DG/CD/DD/BA on a licence.
