Job summary

Blue Arrow HS is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for a pre-booked, ongoing contract at our Bridgewater depot. You will perform trunk deliveries to Midlands hubs with shift patterns between 14:00 and 20:00, typically 10–12 hour days, and a 45-minute daily break.

The role offers supportive teams and a structured environment. Applicants must hold a Full UK C+E licence with CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card, plus a minimum 12 months of HGV Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E licence and valid CPC/digital tachograph.
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 experience.
• Tachograph data available for last 6 months.
• Licence must have 6 points or less and no DR/DG/CD/DD/BA codes.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Type: trunk / drop and swap / collection x1.
• Destinations: Midlands hubs.
• Workload: straight trunk to hub and back.
• No multi-drop.

Location: Bridgewater - TA6

Pay Rates

• * Monday - Thursday: £18.15ph and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• * Friday: £18.15ph until midnight, £23.52ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• * Saturday: £23.52ph until midnight, £26.25ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• * Sunday: £26.25ph until midnight, £18.15ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

Shift Patterns

• * Shifts: Operation runs 24-7 Monday to Sunday
• * Average Shift Length: 10 - 12 hours
• * Start times vary between 14:00 - 20:00 depending on weekly requirements
• * Pre-booked rota for better planning
