Job summary

Blue Arrow is looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for an ongoing, pre-booked role in Bristol (BS16). The position involves trunk deliveries to Midlands hubs, with no multi-drop and shifts planned on a 24-7 rota.

You must hold a full UK Class C+E licence, valid CPC and digital tachograph card, and have 12 months’ HGV Class 1 experience with a clean licence (no more than 6 points).

Qualifications

• HGV1 driving experience required.
• Valid CPC and tachograph card must be held.
• Licence must show no more than 6 points and no DR/DG/CD/DD/BA codes.

Responsibilities

• Trunk deliveries to Midlands hubs; no multi-drop.
• Operate a modern fleet with telematics and route planning.
• Pre-booked rota and shift patterns for planning.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Contract Type: Pre-booked, ongoing

Positions Available: 1

Location: Bristol - BS16

Pay Rates

• Monday - Thursday: £18.15ph and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Friday: £18.15ph until midnight, £23.52ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Saturday: £23.52ph until midnight, £26.25ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Sunday: £26.25ph until midnight, £18.15ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

Shift Patterns

• Shifts: Operation runs 24-7 Monday to Sunday
• Average Shift Length: 10 - 12 hours
• Start times vary between 14:00 - 20:00 depending on weekly requirements
• Pre-booked rota for better planning

Job Role

• Delivery Type: Trunk / drop and swap / collection x1
• Destinations: Midlands Hubs
• Workload: Straight trunk to hub and back
• No multi-drop

Requirements
