Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Sheffield depot. You will perform straight trunk runs to Midlands hubs with no multi-drop and no hand ball, using a modern fleet with telematics.

The role offers pre-booked shifts, predictable hours, and a paid induction. Requirements include UK Class C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph, 12 months HGV1 experience, and a clean tachograph record.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class C+E Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 6 points maximum - no DR/DG/CC/DD/BA endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 experience.
• Data available on tachograph card showing work over last 3–6 months.
• Full induction required - paid time and to be completed on a midweek.

Pay Rates

• Saturday: £23.52ph until midnight, £26.25ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Sunday: £26.25ph until midnight, £18.15ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

Shift Patterns

• Fixed Shifts: Saturday and/or Sunday
• Average Shift Length: 12 hours
• Start times vary between 14:00 - 22:00
• Pre-booked rota for better planning
