Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Carlisle-based operation. The role involves trunking parcels to Midlands hubs, with a pre-booked rota and no multi-drop.

Shifts are 12 hours on a 24-7 schedule, with start times ranging from 14:00 to 20:00. A full UK Class C+E licence, CPC and tachograph card are required, with at least 12 months of Class 1 experience.

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 experience
• Data available on tachograph card displaying work over last 6 months
• Licence must be clean with no DR/DG/CD/DD/BA on record

Pay Rates

• Monday - Thursday: £18.15ph and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Friday: £18.15ph until midnight, £23.52ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Saturday: £23.52ph until midnight, £26.25ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Sunday: £26.25ph until midnight, £18.15ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

• Shifts: Operation runs 24-7 Monday to Sunday
• Average Shift Length: 12 hours
• Start times vary between 14:00 - 20:00 depending on weekly requirements
