Job summary

Blue Arrow in Leeds is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for pre-booked, ongoing shifts. You will deliver parcels to Midlands hubs with a straight trunk to hub and back, operating in a 24-7 schedule with 12-hour average shifts and start times between 14:00 and 20:00.

The role requires a full UK Class C+E licence, valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and at least 12 months' HGV Class 1 experience. Onsite parking and pre-booked shifts help work-life balance, with a supportive team and competitive

Qualifications

• Requires a valid UK Class C+E licence and CPC card.
• Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 experience with tachograph usage.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR/DG on licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivery type: Parcels to Midlands hubs with straight trunking.
• Pre-booked rota with 12-hour shifts; average start 14:00–20:00.
• Operate in a modern fleet with telematics and route planning.

Pay Rates

• Monday - Thursday: £18.15ph and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Friday: £18.15ph until midnight, £23.52ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Saturday: £23.52ph until midnight, £26.25ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Sunday: £26.25ph until midnight, £18.15ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

Shift Patterns

• Shifts: Operation runs 24-7 Monday to Sunday
• Average Shift Length: 12 hours
• Start times vary between 14:00 - 20:00 depending on weekly requirements
• Pre-booked rota for better planning
