Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in Leeds for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E). Shifts Monday to Friday with a 09:00 start, pay rate £19.08 per hour PAYE. Location Leeds LS27.

Job Type: Temp to Perm. You will conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, perform bulk collections, and collaborate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. Requirements include a Full UK driving licence Class 1, 12 months' experience, DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, no more than 6

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C+E).
• Minimum 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• 6 - 8 bulk collections.
• Minimal loading and unloading required.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely collections/deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
