The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Liverpool. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C+E).
• At least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Mainly collections with some deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading parcels at depots/customers.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely collections/deliveries.
• Operate devices and company software to update delivery status and communicate with the depot.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations and company policies for safety on the road.
• Communicate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely deliveries and pickups.

• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
