Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our client in Warrington for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E). The role supports a 24/7 operation with shifts starting from 12pm and long 11-hour days, offering ongoing work and potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Pay options include PAYE and rolled-up rates, with weekend premiums. You will cover Northwest routes to Nuneaton/Rugby and Dundee, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C+E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 12 months experience required; drivers with 6+ months may attend an assessment.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Ability to work independently on long-haul runs.
• Strong safety standards and professionalism.
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shifts:

Shifts across a 24-hour operation, across Monday to Sunday.

Hours:

from 12pm onwards

Pay Rates (2 payment options):

• PAYE: £156 per day midweek, £171 per day on weekends.
• Rolled up: £174 per day midweek, £191 per day on weekends.

• As part of a 24/7 operation, you’ll be trunking trailers for major parcel companies.
• Covering routes predominantly from the Northwest to Nuneaton/Rugby and Dundee etc.
• Flexible start times with month-in-advance bookings.
• Average 11-hour shifts.
• Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

• 12 months experience required however, drivers with less (no less than 6 months experience) can attend an assessment.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only).
