A large hospital trust in the South East is seeking a qualified Band 5 Respiratory Healthcare Practitioner or a Band 4 trainee. The role involves conducting respiratory tests, supporting junior staff, and maintaining high standards of practice. The Respiratory physiology and sleep service at East Kent Hospitals is one of the largest in the South East, outside of London. The service undertakes over 3,000 respiratory polygraphies per annum and has 8,000 CPAP users as well as a busy NIV service. Following a service review and funding for the Thaneet CDC, EKHUFT will expand to offer respiratory diagnostics at an additional site and broaden the testing offered to patients.
We are offering the right candidate the opportunity to join the team as either a qualified Band 5 Respiratory Healthcare Practitioner or as a Band 4 trainee supported with a combination of in-house and external degree-level training to develop into a Clinical Physiologist.
