Roche Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist team servicing high-value medical diagnostic equipment across NHS, university and private laboratories in the Central East UK (Grantham to Peterborough). You will install, diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and train customers, ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with proven track record servicing high-value capital equipment.
• HNC/HND level or above in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering desirable.
• Customer-centric mindset able to navigate complex matrix environments.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team (Applications, IT, Engineering).
• Willingness to work in a 7-day support model to meet regional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for complex medical diagnostic equipment on-site and remotely.
• Fault diagnosis, routine repairs, preventative maintenance and system installations.
• Represent Roche Diagnostics professionally with laboratory personnel and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
• Support proactive solutions and analytical reviews alongside reactive troubleshooting.
