Job summary

Roche UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure maximum uptime of Roche diagnostics systems across regions. You will perform on-site and remote diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and customer training to optimise performance.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and strong IVD industry experience, with the ability to travel across the North and surrounding areas. Roche offers a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
HNC/HND with proven track record encouraged.
Extensive IVD industry experience providing technical support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and pressure-management skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver electro-mechanical hardware support, including routine proactive and reactive tasks and technical training.
Troubleshoot faults, perform preventive maintenance, and generate reports to improve efficiency.
Provide technical training to customers on Roche diagnostic systems.
Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance.
Build relationships with peers and stakeholders to align service and sales.
Participate in internal review meetings to ensure service excellence.
