A leading health care provider in the United Kingdom is looking for a full-time Health Care Assistant to join their Eating Disorder team. You will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to adults with complex health needs in a Specialist Eating Disorder Unit. Responsibilities include working closely with nursing staff, contributing to care assessments, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. We are currently looking for a full‑time Health Care Assistant, to work as a valued member of the s3 Eating Disorder team, carrying out duties in order to meet the needs of our service users. You will be trained and supervised by registered professionals and will be expected to follow a plan of care based on the specific needs of the service users. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our service providing care in an Specialist Eating Disorder Unit aged 18‑65 in Addenbrookes Hospital. You may be required to undertake and successfully complete the new national Care Certificate within a 12 weeks' timeframe if you meet our criteria. You will receive full training and support and The Care Certificate sets out 15 national care standards that must be achieved by all health and social care staff to demonstrate that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide safe and excellent quality of care. It is a foundation programme which can provide the first steps to career development within the NHS.
