A leading healthcare provider is seeking a full-time Healthcare Assistant in Gloucester to provide patient care and assist nursing staff. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment cleanliness, preparing treatment supplies, conducting patient health checks, and serving refreshments during treatments. Candidates should have GCSE-level education or equivalent and ideally a minimum NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care. This position offers a competitive salary of £23,810 to £24,474 per year, along with comprehensive training programs and various benefits.
We have an exciting opportunity in our Gloucester clinic for a Healthcare Assistant who wants to make a difference in our patients' lives. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures and in order to increase the quality of life for our patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on‑the‑job training, e‑learning and access to our in‑house education programme d Academy.
Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will be expected to support the nursing team by undertaking a range of duties. Duties can include but are not limited to maintaining clean equipment following appropriate training, preparing supplies and packs for treatment, undertaking health checks with patients pre and post dialysis, escorting patients to the clinical and waiting areas and serving refreshments during treatments.
