About us

Routes is a team of people from all walks of life, working together with one common goal: making a difference for clients and for our workers. For the last 15 years at Routes, we’ve been taking pride in delivering high standards of care that put people’s wants and needs at the heart of it, letting people live the way they choose in the comfort of their home.

We want to help you flourish in your career — Routes provides the tools you need to focus on delivering good care to your community.

What does this mean?

Centralised support teams to help keep things running smoothly in the background: HR, Payroll, Quality and Marketing to name a few. Our in-house recruitment team ensures you have the staff you need, with zero agency use. Routes Academy means the team is highly trained, and both you and our healthcare workers have opportunities to progress and develop your careers. We recently rolled out Digital Care Plans to make operations more efficient, and we have an IT team on hand to assist with IT needs. We also offer wellbeing and financial support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

25 days holiday, additional bank holiday leave, plus an extra day off for your birthday. Saving for future-you with our Pension Scheme. A competitive salary plus an attractive bonus package based on service performance. A fun, friendly and supportive workplace with great personalities.

What we’re looking for

Someone passionate about putting people first. Someone with at least 1 year of experience working in community care. Strong organisational and time management skills. A good understanding of CQC regulations. Superb communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and their care team. An NVQ in Health and Social Care would be a big bonus. Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

Your day-to-day
  • Developing care plans and risk assessments
  • Overseeing the safe administration of medicines
  • Undertaking observations, spot checks and Quality Assurance
  • Completing and updating care records on our in-house systems
  • Assisting your Registered Manager to deliver a high-quality care service
  • Manage on-call duties on a rotating basis

This could be the start of an incredible journey together, changing lives for people in our community. We look forward to hearing from you!
