David Lloyd Leisure Ltd is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for our Manchester Trafford City club in the UK. You will oversee day-to-day safety, compliance and club operations, regularly acting as Duty Manager.

You will train staff in safety procedures, lead a safety-first culture, and coordinate with self-employed contractors to maintain high standards across the facilities. The role offers a £30k pa salary with opportunities for career progression within Europe’s leading premium health and

Formación

• Requires IOSH/NEBOSH or other recognised H&S qualification.
• Experience in managing safety across a facilities environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Duty Manager to ensure smooth club operation and compliance.
• Lead health and safety training for staff and contractors.
• Oversee maintenance and safety compliance of facilities and equipment.
• Manage a team including self-employed contractors and ensure adherence to policies.

As Health and Safety Manager you will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking accountability for ensuring the smooth operation of the club and ensuring day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. You will lead a team and ensure all are trained in line with company expectations as well as manage a team of self-employed contactors. About you:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
• Passionate about customer service.
