David Lloyd Leisure Ltd is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to ensure safe, compliant club operations and lead a mixed team including contractors.

You will oversee daily safety, training, and maintenance activities, supporting a culture of inclusion and wellbeing while driving service excellence across the facility.

Qualifications

• IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Experience leading health & safety in a facilities environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Act as Duty Manager and ensure smooth club operations.
• Lead and train a team, including self-employed contractors.
• Maintain high health & safety compliance across the facility.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the club premises.

As Health and Safety Manager you will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking accountability for ensuring the smooth operation of the club and ensuring day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. You will lead a team and ensure all are trained in line with company expectations as well as manage a team of self-employed contactors. About you:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
• Passionate about customer service.
