David Lloyd Clubs is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join our premium health and wellness group in the UK. The role includes acting as Duty Manager, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, and leading a team to uphold health & safety standards and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a team of employees and self-employed contractors, promoting a safe, customer-focused environment while driving continuous improvements in safety and service quality across the club.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• Facilities management qualification (HND, Diploma, etc.).
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Experience in maintaining facilities and assets.
• Experience leading a service-led team (restaurant, attraction, leisure).
• Passionate about customer service.

As Health and Safety Manager you will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking accountability for ensuring the smooth operation of the club and ensuring day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. You will lead a team and ensure all are trained in line with company expectations as well as manage a team of self-employed contactors.

About you:

As Health and Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
• Passionate about customer service.
