David Lloyd Leisure Ltd in Greater London is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee day-to-day safety, compliance, and facility operations, acting as Duty Manager when needed. You will lead a team and manage self-employed contractors to uphold the highest standards across the club.

The role requires IOSH/NEBOSH or other recognised H&S qualification, a facilities management qualification, strong knowledge of safety regulation, and a customer‑centric service mindset, with proven leadership

Formación

• Experience in leading a team within a service-led facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Strong understanding and experience of Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.

• Regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth operation of the club.
• Ensure day-to-day health & safety and compliance with regulations.
• Lead and train the team, manage self-employed contractors.

As Health and Safety Manager you will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking accountability for ensuring the smooth operation of the club and ensuring day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. You will lead a team and ensure all are trained in line with company expectations as well as manage a team of self-employed contactors. About you: As Health and Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
