Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs in the United Kingdom is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join our premium health and wellness group. You will act as Duty Manager, oversee daily operations, ensure health and safety compliance, and lead a team plus coordinating self-employed contractors.

You should hold IOSH/NEBOSH or a recognised H&S qualification, have facilities management experience, and a passion for customer service as we strive to create an inclusive, thriving club environment.

Qualifications

• Has IOSH/NEBOSH or other recognised H&S qualification.
• HND or Diploma in Facilities Management.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Experience maintaining a facility.
• Experience leading a team in a service-led facility.
• Passionate about customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as Duty Manager to ensure smooth operation.
• Ensure day-to-day health & safety and compliance with regulations.

About you:

As Health and Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
• Passionate about customer service.
