David Lloyd Group is seeking a Health & Safety Manager in Southend to oversee day-to-day health and safety, lead a team, and manage contractors, ensuring compliance across the club.

The role requires IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications, plus facilities management experience and a strong focus on customer service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Relevant facilities management qualification (HND, Diploma, etc).
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Experience leading a team in a service-led facility.

Responsibilities

• Act as Duty Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and compliance.
• Lead the Health & Safety team and manage self-employed contractors.
• Maintain training standards and ensure regulatory adherence across the club.
