David Lloyd Clubs is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to oversee daily operations as a Duty Manager and lead a service-led team within a busy leisure facility.

The role requires a recognised H&S qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent) and a strong working knowledge of current health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised health and safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience in maintaining and upkeeping a facility.
• Experience managing a service-led facility team (e.g., restaurant, leisure or retail).

Responsibilities

• Act as Duty Manager and oversee daily operations.
• Lead and train a team; manage self-employed contractors.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and training across the club.

We are on the look out for a passionate Health and Safety Manager to join our team.

As Health and Safety Manager you will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking accountability for ensuring the smooth operation of the club and ensuring day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. You will lead a team and ensure all are trained in line with company expectations as well as manage a team of self-employed contactors.

About you:

As Health and Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who:

Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification

Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations

Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.

Experience in managing a team in a service led facility(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
