HSEQ Advisor

Location - Chelmsford

Salary - £37,000 - £42,000

We're working with a leading specialist engineering & maintenance organisation looking for a proactive HSEQ Advisor to support the ongoing development of their Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving safety culture and ensuring high standards across all operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the creation, implementation and review of HSEQ policies, procedures and risk assessments.
  • Assist with audits, compliance checks, incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Maintain HSEQ reports, registers, safety alerts and documentation.
  • Monitor legislative updates and help ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Manage client portals, accreditation requirements and internal document control.
  • Contribute to internal training, toolbox talks and wider HSEQ initiatives.
About You
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with HSEQ legislation, management systems and audits.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support teams across the business.
  • NEBOSH, auditing qualifications or similar are desirable; First Aid, IOSH, or industry cards advantageous.
  • Positive, proactive and keen to contribute to continuous improvement.
