Are you looking for a unique and rewarding career opportunity? AWE is currently seeking a Health Physics Operations Manager to join our team at the EPURE facility in Dijon, France. This role is to support a joint UK/French Radiographic and Hydrodynamics facility located 45 minutes from Dijon in France. The Health Physics Operations Manager is one of the positions permanently based on the project in France for up to 5 years supporting the project.
EPURE is a ground‑breaking facility, the first of its kind worldwide, and this is your chance to collaborate with our esteemed French colleagues and be part of something extraordinary! You would be based in France to deliver professional engineering services for the upkeep of all assets and equipment AWE needs in order to deliver the Programme.

Candidates must have relevant Health Physics qualifications, as a minimum these will be either the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Radiation Protection or City and Guilds Radiation Safety Practice Stage 2 (or their equivalents).
Candidates must be willing and able to:Please note: When first appointed in the role you will be based in the UK initially for a period of 12-24 months before being deployed to France where you will deputise for the Operations Manager whilst becoming SQEP for the role.
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
