Our ward provides short‑term, holistic assessment for individuals with dementia whose needs cannot be met in other settings. The post holder will deliver specific components of the patient’s care plan as delegated by the registered nurse and will regularly be required to work without direct supervision. Supervise junior members of staff providing advice and guidance. Work within a multi‑disciplinary team under the direction of a registered nurse. Deliver health care within the Care & Treatment Plan Approach. Provide support to patients on an individual and on a group basis within the inpatient service. With support from registered nurses be responsible for and manage own workload and safety. Participate in supervision from registered nurses. Actively participate in continuing professional development through the Knowledge Skills Framework.
