Registered Manager

Location: Greater Glasgow

Salary: £31,797 per annum

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Permanent

Additional Requirement: Applicants must have a full licence (2 years) and access to a vehicle. Successful candidates will be required to register with the Scottish Social Security Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting.

You’ll ensure the service meets the highest standards, complies with regulations, and supports people to live confidently and independently. You’ll lead with purpose, manage resources wisely, and inspire your team to deliver care that truly matters.

What will a day in the life of a Registered Manager involve?
  • Leading the day-to-day running of a regulated Care at Home service.
  • Supporting staff and volunteers through supervision, training, and development.
  • Monitoring service quality, outcomes, and compliance with care standards.
  • Managing budgets, staffing levels, and ensuring person-centred support plans are in place.
To be a successful Registered Manager, what will you need?
  • SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and a PDA in Supervision (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing care services, including staff supervision and budget control.
  • Strong understanding of health and social care standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
