A leading children's healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant to support children and their families. The role involves preparing clinic rooms, assisting registered nurses in care, and providing comfort to patients. Provide comfort, reassurance and support to the child/young person and their families if anxious or distressed
Communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with the healthcare team, the child/young person and their family/carers/visitors.
Assist in maintaining a clean environment that is conducive to safe practice, cleaning patient equipment as required
Monitor and maintain the environment, equipment and resources
