Post: HSEQ Advisor

Location: Glasgow

Reports to: Head of HSEQ

Purpose

• To be part of the Integrated Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Team, working closely with project teams, stakeholders and the supply chain
• To be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring programs that promote a safe and healthy working environment whilst ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, reporting to the Head of HSEQ Department.
• To deliver Health, Safety, Environment and Quality support and advice to the site, including coordinating / carrying out site audits.
• To ensure that all Risk Assessments, SSOW, COSHH and other key documents are reviewed and fit for purpose.
• Ensure any environmental consents or permits required are applied for, and all conditions are complied with. Communicate permit requirements / conditions to the project delivery team in good time to enable work to be planned.
• In the event of any Health, Safety or Environmental incidents, carry out the necessary investigation, preparing reports and remedial actions as required and liaising with regulatory bodies.
