Job summary

A high-end restaurant in North London is seeking a skilled sushi chef to run the sushi section during lunch and dinner shifts. The ideal candidate will have fine dining sushi experience, exceptional knife skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. The role includes preparing fish and rice, plating sushi, and following all normal sushi chef duties. Training will be provided by an experienced chef with Rosette and Michelin background.

Job description

Sushi chef required in the Hampstead area of North London, this is for a restaurant with an open kitchen, serving amazing higher‑end sushi dishes. Salary £45k. 38‑seat a la carte menu, but the sushi making area/kitchen is open.

Responsibilities
  • Run the sushi section during your shift, working lunch 10:30‑2:30 and dinner service 5:30‑10:30pm for 5 out of 7 days.
  • Prep amazing fish and rice for high‑standard sushi dishes.
  • Plate sushi during service and maintain award‑winning standards.
  • Incorporate all normal sushi chef duties.
