Head of Supply Chain – Pharmaceutical Start-Up London

We’re a mission-driven pharmaceutical company on a journey of rapid expansion, and we’re looking for a dynamic Head of Supply Chain to join our leadership team. This is your chance to build, shape and scale an end-to-end supply chain function that will power the next stage of our growth.

What you’ll be doing

As Head of Supply Chain, you’ll:

• Own and execute the end-to-end supply chain: forecasting, planning, procurement, logistics and distribution.
• Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing supply chain team.
• Keep stock flowing smoothly – ensuring our customers never miss out while optimising cash flow and stock balance.
• Build strong supplier relationships, driving cost efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Manage 3PLs and logistics partners to deliver on‑time, in‑full, every time.
• Partner with our Quality and Pharmacy teams to meet regulatory standards.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks across raw materials, packaging and logistics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on product launches, market expansions and change projects.
• Champion continuous improvement through data, analytics and innovation.
• Own supply chain budgets and KPIs to balance growth, cost and quality.

What we’re looking for in the appointed Head of Supply Chain

You’re an experienced supply chain leader with a proven track record in fast-paced, high‑growth environments (start‑ups, scale‑ups or FMCG). You’ll bring:

• Expertise across forecasting, procurement, inventory, logistics and systems.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills (SQL is a bonus).
• At least 4 years of people management experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost‑conscious decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solutions‑driven approach – comfortable with ambiguity and ready to thrive in a start‑up setting.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, cosmetics, food etc.)
