A key support organization for cooperative housing in London seeks a Head of Procurement to establish and manage a new procurement framework under the Procurement Act. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional with at least three years of experience in procurement within a regulated environment. The organization offers a flexible hybrid working environment and a supportive culture, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week).
We will consider 3-4 days per week
Contract type: 12 months fixed-term with possibility to become permanent

About CDS CDS exists to provide, support and promote co-operative and community-led housing so that more people can live and work in co-operative ways. We are the country s largest provider of governance, financial and housing management support to small housing co-operatives, we are small social landlord in our right and we are innovating new routes to grow community-led housing in England.
The opportunity We re establishing a major new Procurement Act-compliant digital Open Framework, appointing Plentific as managing agent. This framework will give social landlords a safe, easy and compliant way to procure contractors for works large and small all digitally enabled. As Head of Procurement, you ll play a pivotal role in setting up and running this framework and in maturing CDS s wider procurement approach.
About you You re a collaborative procurement professional who brings credibility with colleagues and suppliers alike. You can balance rigour with pragmatism, translate legislation into workable practice and communicate simply.You will have or be working toward a relevant professional qualification (e.g. MCIPS) and have at least three years experience and experience managing procument within a regulated public sector or housing environment.
