Qualifications

  • Experience of managing a payroll function within a medium or large sized organization.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • iTrent experience is essential.
  • Extensive pension experience, ideally with schemes SAUL, USS, NHSSS.
  • Experience in Higher Education or NHS is desirable.

Head of Payroll, Pensions & Systems (12 month FTC)

We are pleased to be supporting an organisation in the education sector who are currently recruiting for a Head of Payroll, Pensions & Systems to join them on a 12 month FTC basis. Reporting into the Director of Finance this role will be responsible for managing a small team.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the payroll & pensions operations for permanent and casual staff
  • Provide expertise on payroll & pension issues
  • Administration of four pension schemes
  • Advise senior management on pension scheme developments
  • Maintain, update & create salary scales on the HR & Payroll system
  • Day to day management and supervision of the payroll team
Experience required
  • Experience of managing a payroll function within a medium or large sized organisation
