Position

Location: Remote-based with occasional travel for meetings

Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary: up to £55,000.00 dependent on experience

Role purpose

Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, the Head of Marketing will own our marketing strategy, performance, and execution. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll shape the marketing vision for FY27 and beyond, ensuring clear alignment with revenue growth, lead generation, brand development, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Lead and evolve the Paragon Skills marketing strategy in line with business growth priorities.
    • Translate strategy into measurable, integrated marketing plans.
    • Act as a senior marketing voice influencing cross‑functional decision‑making.
  • Growth, KPIs & Performance
    • Own and deliver marketing KPIs linked to lead generation, revenue, and brand performance.
    • Track and report performance to the CEO and senior leaders.
    • Continually optimise marketing activity to maximise ROI.
  • Campaigns, Channels & Execution
    • Lead multi‑channel campaigns across digital, social, and offline platforms.
    • Oversee digital strategy including SEO, PPC, email, and website performance.
    • Ensure production of high‑quality sales and marketing collateral.
  • Market Insight & External Engagement
    • Build deep sector knowledge and monitor competitive trends.
    • Represent Paragon Skills at industry events and conferences.
    • Develop partnerships that support brand positioning and lead generation.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and develop the Paragon Skills marketing team.
    • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and group marketing functions.
    • Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
  • Brand & Communications
    • Act as brand guardian across all channels and touchpoints.
    • Support internal communications and employer brand initiatives.
    • Ensure consistent, clear messaging for colleagues and external audiences.
Requirements
Essential Experience
  • Senior marketing experience with a blend of strategy and hands‑on delivery.
  • Track record of driving lead generation and commercial growth.
  • Strong experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Confidence owning KPIs, budgets, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Solid understanding of digital channels and performance drivers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action.
  • Relevant marketing qualification.
  • Experience driving upsell/cross‑sell strategies. (desirable)
  • Experience working within a group or matrix structure. (desirable)
