We are excited to be actively seeking a motivated individual who excels in a dynamic work setting to become part of our Marketing Department in North America, taking on the role of Head of Marketing. This position offers a full‑time commitment working remotely within the Tri‑State region, with regular travel to connect with colleagues and brand partners.
Farrow & Ball are a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients. The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a data-driven, region-specific marketing strategy aligned with global objectives and local market dynamics.
- Brand Positioning: Ensure cultural relevance and resonance. Aid the development of our NA brand position through market research, as well as ensuring consistent brand messaging / localization where needed across all North American channels and campaigns, working closely with our central Brand team.
- Demand Generation: Drive measurable growth through targeted campaigns to our core audiences (Designers, Painters, Homeowners, Stockists, Web). This could be through events, lead nurturing, or dedicated performance marketing initiatives working closely with your team and our Media Manager and agency (UK based).
- Customer Insights: Conduct market research, consumer proposition development and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: With a head office and Global team in the UK this is important, and we also have a widespread team across NA that need to be bought along on the Brand journey. Close collaboration is required with Marketing, Ecommerce, PR & Communication, People & Culture, Finance, Procurement.
- Budget & ROI: Track and report on KPIs, ROI, and marketing effectiveness for all NA activity.
- Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor the NA marketing team as well as influencing the wider marketing team on NA goals.
Key Attributes
- Significant experience in B2C/B2B marketing, with proven experience in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated global marketing experience, including successfully expanding an established brand into new international markets.
- Proven track record of making data-driven decisions to guide strategy, optimize performance, and deliver measurable results.
- Strong background in creative excellence, with the ability to develop and evaluate high-impact creative work across channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven success in driving a marketing strategy in the North American market.
- Strong understanding of demand generation, brand strategy, retention and marketing analytics. Within this, a passion for data and numbers to demonstrate a core understanding of market levers.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the decor or home furnishings category (a plus, but not required).
