We are seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function and drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and enhances our market presence.

Main Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team across brand, content, digital, product marketing, and partnership marketing.
  • Own the marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources across channels.
Demand Generation & Growth
  • Drive qualified pipeline through multi-channel campaigns (e.g., paid media, SEO, email, events).
  • Collaborate with Sales to align on lead quality, funnel metrics, and conversion strategies.
  • Optimise marketing automation and lead nurturing programs.
Brand & Positioning
  • Define and evolve the brand identity, messaging, and value proposition.
  • Ensure consistent brand presence across all touchpoints, including website, social media, and collateral.
  • Lead PR, communications, and thought leadership initiatives.
Product Marketing & Enablement
  • Partner with Product to develop go-to-market plans for new features and launches.
  • Create compelling content and sales enablement materials to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning and pricing.
Analytics & Performance
  • Track and report on key marketing KPIs (e.g., CAC, ROI, MQLs, website traffic, campaign performance).
  • Use data to inform decisions, test hypotheses, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Ensure marketing technology stack is optimised for performance and scalability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships to align on shared goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the organisation.
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Marketing role
  • Experience in a SaaS Business related environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing digital campaigns
  • Proficient on LinkedIn as a lead generation channel
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing direct reports or a team.
Desirable Criteria
  • MA / MSc Marketing, Digital Technologies, Business Studies, Sports Studies or a similar relevant field or an MBA
  • Experience within Marketing in a Tech business
  • Experience in the Sports Industry, either as a sports coach, volunteer, administrator or player
  • Graphic design and publishing experience, particularly in the social media and Blogging environment
  • Experience operating a CRM.
