The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing strategy during the next phase of growth. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Owner, offering significant influence over brand direction, commercial performance, and long-term growth. The role is home-based, with flexibility to attend the office for key meetings, collaboration, and planning sessions as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the overall marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and campaign planning across all channels
  • Manage a marketing team of 6 people, mentoring and developing them while setting clear objectives and performance standards
  • Lead the recruitment of new marketing roles to support continued growth
  • Build a scalable team structure for UK and international expansion
  • Oversee digital marketing performance including paid media, SEO, CRM, email, TikTok, Instagram, and other social channels
  • Drive growth and engagement on TikTok and Instagram, leveraging platform trends, content strategies, and analytics to build the brand
  • Oversee all paid partnerships, influencer activity, and affiliate programmes, ensuring strong brand alignment and ROI
  • Lead PR and communications strategy, including media relations, press coverage, product seeding, awards, and brand storytelling
  • Manage PR agencies and press relationships to maximise brand visibility and credibility
  • Drive product launches from concept to execution across DTC, retail, and international markets
  • Develop and optimise e-commerce marketing strategies, including conversion rate optimisation, online promotions, and digital sales growth
  • Manage external agencies and partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for money
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI and performance tracking
  • Work closely with the Owner to align marketing, PR, and brand activity with business strategy
  • Collab ore with Sales, Product Development, and E-commerce teams to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Use data and insights to inform decision-making and optimise marketing activity
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, events, media opportunities, and key industry moments
About You
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within FMCG, ecommerce beauty, pet care, or consumer brands
  • Strong experience managing social media channels, with key knowledge of how to grow a brand on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
  • Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and scaling marketing teams, specifically managing a team of 6 people
  • Strong experience managing PR, paid partnerships, influencers, and affiliate programmes
  • Key understanding of e-commerce sales and digital retail growth strategies
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving growth in scaling businesses
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand building, and performance analytics
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strategic, creative thinker with hands‑on execution capability
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for pets and consumer brands is highly desirable
