Barchester Healthcare is seeking a proactive Head of Maintenance for a care home in the UK. You will lead a maintenance team, ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, and support budget planning with the General Manager.

You'll manage on-site trades, liaise with contractors, and fix a range of tasks from plumbing to grounds upkeep, while prioritising residents’ needs and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• At least one trade skill.
• Full UK driving licence, IT literacy and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Lead a maintenance team within the care home and support the General Manager with annual budget planning.
• Liaise with contractors for work outside the team’s expertise.
• Carry out a range of maintenance tasks around the building and gardens, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
