Barchester Healthcare is looking for a Head of Maintenance to lead the on-site team and oversee maintenance across the care home and grounds. You’ll ensure residents live in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while managing day-to-day operations and minor repairs.

You will supervise staff, support the General Manager with budget planning, and coordinate with external contractors to complete specialised tasks efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across building and grounds.
• At least one trade skill to undertake a wide range of tasks.
• Reliable and flexible with working hours.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the maintenance team and coordinate with the General Manager on budget planning.
• Maintain building and gardens to ensure a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
• Liaise with contractors for specialised work outside the team’s scope.
