A specialist education provider in Lancaster is seeking a Head of Learning to drive excellence for students with complex needs. You will lead quality assurance, curriculum development, and compliance, working alongside teachers and support staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEND education and a recognised teaching qualification. This role offers emotional, medical, financial, and physical support for staff, including 24/7 assistance and wellness programs.
Integrity Education Solutions are supporting an SEN college based in NW England, that provides highly personalised pathways for special school leavers with the appointment of a Head of Learning. The specialist college supports the school leavers in their journey to adulthood and helping them live as independently and fulfilling as possible. Each student spends 2–3 years on an intensive, multi-disciplinary study programme that prepares them to lead busy, productive lives.
The Head of Learning will drive excellence in education for learners with complex needs. This pivotal role involves leading on quality assurance, curriculum development, and regulatory compliance, including Ofsted standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Teachers, Learning Support Workers, and governance professionals to ensure outstanding provision for students with complex health conditions, learning disabilities, and SEMH diagnoses, including autism.
