The Group Reporting team is responsible for all statutory financial reporting for the easyJet Group (excluding easyJet holidays and easyJet Engineering Malta) including the delivery of the Group Annual Report and Accounts (ARA), half year disclosures and subsidiary accounts. Additionally, as non-financial reporting requirements grow, including CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and IFRS S1 and S2, this team will take the lead on coordinating easyJet’s response and formulating and delivering the required reporting.
The Role
We’re looking for a talented finance professional to join our Group Reporting team at easyJet. In this pivotal role, you’ll take ownership of our statutory and non-financial reporting, ensuring our accounts are accurate, compliant, and reflect industry best practice. You’ll collaborate with internal finance teams, external auditors, and other business partners to deliver high-quality financial information that supports decision-making and keeps us ahead of regulatory requirements.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the preparation and delivery of the Group’s statutory half-year and annual accounts, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and managing the relationship with our external auditors
- Supporting the Director of Group Reporting in producing the annual report, investor presentations, and key financial documentation for results announcements and roadshows

- Overseeing the integrity of the group balance sheet, ensuring robust reconciliation processes and clear monthly and quarterly reporting
- Driving non-financial reporting by working closely with Legal and Sustainability teams to meet CSRD and IFRS S1/S2 requirements, and ensuring our data is validated and fit for purpose
- Staying up to date with changing regulations and best practice in both financial and non-financial reporting, and ensuring easyJet remains compliant
- Championing process improvements and digital innovation within the team, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Motivating and developing team members, supporting talent and succession planning, and deputising for the Director of Group Reporting when required
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who is passionate about financial reporting and eager to make a real impact at easyJet. You’ll be a qualified accountant with a strong technical background, but just as importantly, you’ll be a collaborative team player and an inclusive leader.
You’ll bring:
- An accountancy qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a large, listed UK Plc or similar environment
- Significant experience in statutory reporting and technical accounting (IFRS), with a proven ability to digest and interpret accounting complexity and apply sound, practical judgement
- Excellent written and presentational skills, with the confidence to deliver financial results, insight, and presentations to senior stakeholders—including the CFO and Audit Committee—with a high level of accuracy, even in deadline-driven environments
- Experience managing relationships with external auditors and working effectively with a range of internal stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams
- Controls consciousness, ideally with prior experience of working in a SOX or other monitored control framework
- Gravitas, experience, and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with senior members of the Group Audit team, liaise directly with the CFO when required, and interact confidently with finance peers and Directors across the wider finance organisation
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a team, manage talent and performance conversations, and deputise for the Director of Group Reporting when needed
- Experience in non-financial reporting and a good understanding of evolving regulatory requirements (CSRD, IFRS S1/S2)
- A proactive approach to process improvement, with a proven ability to formulate solutions to problems, drive change, and create a continuous improvement environment across the team
- A keen interest in digital technology and innovation, with flexibility and adaptability to support wider finance transformation projects
What you’ll get in return
- Up to 30% bonus
- PMI
- 25 days holiday
- BAYE, SAYE & Performance share schemes
- 7% pension
