Job summary

A leading consultancy services business in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of FP&A to oversee the planning and budgeting process. The role requires ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualification and strong analytical skills to lead the FP&A team. This position involves cashflow forecasting and presenting reports to stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transformation and strategic insight generation. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence in London 2-3 days per week.

Job description

Broster Buchanan are partnering with a private equity owned consultancy services business to recruit for a Head of FP&A, based in London 2-3 days per week.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Improve and oversee annual planning and budgeting process.
  • Cashflow forecasting and other ad-hoc financial modelling
  • Preparation and presentation of business performance reports to the Board and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for performance analysis and commercial insight, including providing key performance indicators (KPI) reporting in response to changing business priorities.
  • Periodic competitor analysis and benchmarking to provide strategic insight
  • Play a pivotal role in building a high performing FP&A team through a period of transformation
  • Support the implementation of key system changes to improve the efficiency and commercial insight.
  • Support corporate activity and due diligence processes.
  • Create and develop effective partnerships with key senior internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA qualified or equivalent with proven experience in a senior FP&A role within a complex, ideally private equity owned organisation. The role requires strong analytical skills, together with the ability to effectively lead a team.
