Job description
Head of Finance & Digital Improvement

Work Location: Hybrid, Edinburgh based.

Hours: 37 hours per week.

Salary: £57,696.82 + £4,564.80 Car Allowance.

This role reports directly to the Director of Finance & Digital Improvement, deputising as required and acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team, Board, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of long‑term financial and digital strategies.
  • Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversee statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards.
  • Drive digital transformation and ICT improvements aligned with organisational needs.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and development for the Finance & Digital team.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience as part of a senior leadership team, driving strategic initiatives and demonstrating inspiring leadership. They should maintain continuously developed skills, knowledge and expertise through structured CPD as a Chartered Accountant.
