Job description

Communicate have partnered with a growing FMCG brand in their search for a Head of Finance. The business has been on a distinct growth tract in recent years and has recently entered the US market, this growth has been both organic and through acquisitions.

You will play a crucial role within finance, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. On a wider basis, you will assist in the development of both FP&A and financial control processes and effectiveness of the financial operations department.

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for a capable and growing team and act as the lead for the day-to-day finances across the group. You will coordinate this entire function and provide reports for the executive management team.

The ideal candidate will have experience within audit and have lead group finance in a consumer-focused company.

Based out of central London (on a hybrid basis) this role is perfect for any technical accountant with ambitions to step up into a senior leadership position.

Responsibilities Include

• Consolidation of P&L, financial statements, cash flows
• Oversee daily control of the group
• Provide strategic analysis to the SLT
• Manage the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Monitor capital requirements and ensure full compliance
• Ensure local financial statements are prepared and submitted on time

Qualifications / Experience Required

• ACA Qualified with extensive PQE
• Extensive technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)
• High proficiency in excel
• Team management experience in international environments
• Previous experience in an FMCG/Scale-up project
