Job summary

Haven in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Department – Head of Facilities to lead a large multi-discipline team including site maintenance, facilities management, security and cleaning. You will drive performance, set direction and ensure safe, high standards across the park.

You will manage budgets, supplier relationships, and compliance, while developing your team and delivering guest experiences that align with Haven's brand.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in hard and soft facilities management.
• Proven vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership, organisation and team development ability.
• Strategic planning experience with problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Facilities Team and set clear goals.
• Engage in guest trouble-shooting and feedback-driven improvements.
• Develop and implement strategic plans including budgeting.
• Mentor, educate and appraise team members to foster growth.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvements.
• Support annual sales and profit targets through maintenance and operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build relationships and opportunities.
• Ensure safety and compliance in gas, water, electricity, drainage and caravan siting.
• Report achievements, challenges and future plans to senior management.
