Job summary

Haven is seeking a Head of Department – Head of Facilities at Craig Tara Holiday Park to lead a large facilities team including maintenance, security and cleaning. You will set strategic direction, drive performance, manage budgets, and ensure a safe, clean and guest-focused environment across the park.

You will mentor and develop managers, optimise operations, and maintain high standards in guest experience while aligning with Haven's policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in hard and soft facilities management is essential.
• Proven negotiating skills with vendors.
• Strong leadership and organisational capabilities with focus on team growth.
• Experience developing strategic plans and addressing problems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of achieving department and organisational goals.
• Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Facilities Team with clear goals and 90‑day induction plan.
• Handle guest/owner escalations and analyse feedback for improvements.
• Develop and implement strategic plans including budgeting and resources.
• Engage, educate, support, and appraise team members for growth and collaboration.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in maintenance, caravan siting, and cleaning operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure safety, compliance and alignment with company policies across all facilities.
