Job summary

Haven is seeking a Head of Department - Head of Facilities to lead a large team delivering a safe, clean and memorable park environment for guests and owners at Haven.

You will drive strategic planning and budgeting, ensure compliance with gas, water, electricity and drainage standards, and mentor managers to raise performance while maintaining Haven’s high standards across maintenance, security and cleaning operations.

Qualifications

• Senior-level facilities management experience is essential.
• Proven vendor management and negotiation skills required.
• Strong leadership, organisational and mentoring abilities.
• Experience developing strategic plans and solving problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of achieving departmental and organizational goals.
• Knowledge of industry trends, regulations and best practices.
• Commercial acumen with cost management experience.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and stay focused in busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Facilities Team and set clear goals.
• Engage with guests and stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Manage, support and appraise team members to foster growth and collaboration.
• Continuously assess performance and implement improvements for efficient operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain safety and compliance across gas, water, electricity and drainage areas.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on achievements and challenges.
