Job summary

House Of Fashion Associates is recruiting a Head of Design for premium bedding and bathroom textiles. The role is based in the Manchester area and involves leading a small team, coordinating with product directors and retailers, and driving a growing portfolio for UK and export markets.

You will source fabrics, oversee bulk production, and deliver CADs for packaging and care labels, while presenting concepts to customers and stakeholders and exploring exclusive designs with key accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in home textiles, premium bedlinen and bathroom.
• Hands-on in a design-led, commercial environment.
• Experience with premium brand textiles and export markets.
• Experience presenting to retailers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small design team and work with Head of Product and directors.
• Develop and manage a growing home textiles portfolio for UK and export.
• Source fabrics, visit suppliers and attend global trade fairs.
• Dress trade shows and showrooms in the UK and abroad.
• Provide CADs for packaging, insert cards and care labels.
• Present designs confidently to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work with key customers on exclusives to brief and timelines.
• Ensure projects follow the critical path and approve factory submissions.
• Stay updated on new design and production techniques in textiles.
